Gerente, a well-known videographer of Piton de la Fournaise eruptions, is a mathematician who was on the faculty at the University of Science on La Reunion. Alain Gerente a filmé toutes les grandes éruptions du Piton de La Fournaise. Il a rassemblé des documents et retracera samedi après-midi à 15h00 à la Cité du Volcan à la Plaine des Cafres, trois siècles d’histoire du cratère Dolomieu.
